An interesting aside to Scot’s career in multimedia production is his involvement in the music business as a major label recording artist ( 3 co-produced major label releases). He and his cohorts circled the globe from 1993 through 2000 and for a time held the #1 chart position on Finnish state radio. Seriously.
The Psyclone Rangers also garnered a number of ‘artists to watch’ awards and received special recognition in Rolling Stone Magazine’s best new artists of 1993.

In 1994 he and his band settled in Memphis for 2 months to record at historic Ardent Studios, rubbing elbows with Staxx label stars, members of The Allman Bros band, the Memphis Horns and British production icon Ian Caple.
Today Scot still works in in live multitrack digital recording & engineering (for both music and commercial video productions) and maintains a number of independent recording projects. A project he engineered was submitted for a 2008 Grammy Award and he is a full voting member in the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (The Grammys).
