I'm just getting into camping,i will be going on a 2 week long trip in MA,around dec,early jan,when it will be snowing and cold at night,i was wondering,is a military pup tent good for this along with a cold weather sleeping bag?and do i really need a tent?or can i just do with a sleeping bag in some type of waterproof cover?
