what do you think about this lifestyle?
i am a twenty two year old man and i live alone at an apartment right next to train tracks so every now and then i wake up from a train horn. i work nights at an old military surplus warehouse which is very calm and peaceful. i have different attires to wear like levi's, plain t shirts of different colors and a regular cap once in a while. i collect knives and i have a leather brown duffel bag that i carry around my important things in. i have regular short hair like leonardo dicaprio or paul walker and i have a list of contacts in my cell. girls who aren't into being "fresh and fly" and guys around my age who are into camping and military stuff. i stay home alot to watch war movies and saw movies and i'm a bit obsessed with saw movies. when i go out on weekends i go to the internet cafe or hang out downtown with some guys. but on long days after work i usually go to a bar and have a drink or two when it is not packed at all...
what do you guys think of my life??

So I'm going to dinner tomorrow with my boyfriend, and we're college students in California. In other words we wear two types of clothing: casual and rugged casual.
I've got some formal stuff, and a lot of casual/hiking stuff. Nothing really in between. He's got button down shirts but usually walks around in military surplus jacket/hat & jeans.
I don't expect him to dress up, but I want to wear a skirt for the fun of it. However, if I go too formal and he wears the usual then it would look weird or might make him feel awkward and I don't want that.
Any ideas for what to wear to a place that's nice, but not nice enough for a dress code?
PF Chang's is more casual now than when they first opened up their chains. i agree with the other answer about wearing a skirt just for fun. Why not? My husband wore shorts the last time we ate there a few weeks ago.
